School cricket

Cricket season has arrived and Kaukapakapa School was fortunate to have the services of Auckland Cricket who came to the school to teach our students some of the skills of cricket. A member of Auckland Cricket’s ‘Summer Squad’, Dafydd Evans, spent the day with our students teaching them the correct way to throw and catch cricket balls, as well as how to hold a cricket bat. Students all benefited from the day and many are interested in learning more about cricket.
